Fortrans 5000B

Installed in a full enclosure 4’ wide 4’ deep and 8’ high. It is equipped with lighting, shelving and a steel door with lockset. The system includes a stainless steel submersible pump with a float switch that is connected to a GFCI outlet in rear of system. Suction and discharge hoses are equipped with cam lock quick connect fittings. Red alarm light and fixture is included. This model is built on a Trex® skid with Coex® plastic flooring for maximum resistance to water damage.

Owner supplied items are a 10’ X 10’ concrete pad which provides space for CO2 tanks, 115V 20 Amp electrical service and C02 supply with regulator and hose. Shipping weight 650 lbs. Class 200 Freight classification.

    • Custom System Flow And Treatment Capacity. Fortrans pH control systems are scalable to meet your facility’s current and future pH adjustment requirements. The standard Fortrans system has a through-put of approximately 70,000 gallons per day and can efficiently adjust up to 140,000 gallons of water per day. Higher capacity units are available for pH adjustment of 300,000 GPO to a million gallons per day and more. Contact Fortrans for a quote on a custom system to meet your specific needs.
    • Electronic Flow Meter With Totalizer Function. Upgrade the standard electronic flow rate meter to a flow rate and totalized flow meter with power disruption backup, and an output for external data recording. Use for managing your system maintenance and C02 re-supply schedule.
    • Data Logger. Continuously record the pH and flowrate of the system, and store the process pH and flowrate data on a SD flash card with a two-channel data logger. Be able to access all of your system process data from anywhere, at anytime with your Ethernet connection to this data logger. Complete with software to export process data to Excel for regulatory reporting.
    • Modular Discharge Option. Modular discharge option provides external piping and a manual valve or solenoid valve, to divert your facility’s pH adjusted excess process water or storm water to discharge. You supply a discharge hose for the cam lock discharge connection. System continuously monitors and records discharge water flow rate and pH using a data logger with Ethernet connection. Record and store your discharge data on a SD card, with the date and time as well as the pH and flow rate of the discharge. Streamline your recordkeeping and reporting with export of this discharge data to Microsoft Excel.
    • Discharge option monitors and reports pH and total gallons discharged and date of discharge. Includes 2-channel data logger with Ethernet connection and SD memory card with software to download data to paper format for permanent storage. Unit is equipped with external piping and electric butterfly valve. Control discharge can be switched to manual. Owner supplied items: 2” flat hose with cam-lock quick connect fitting.
    • Chemical Pump And Injectors. Systems can be customized to raise pH, as well as to lower pH as desired, or perform both functions on a continuous basis.
    • Electronic Flow Meter with Totalizer function.
